The Best Time to Contact the School

If you would like to speak to a member of staff, and it is not an emergency situation, please contact the school outside teaching hours.

Before 08:50
Between 10:15 – 10:30
During Lunch from 12:30 – 13:00
Or after school

If your child is going to be absent, you must call the school before 09:00.

Entrance to the School

The main entrance door is accessible at all times via the intercom facility.

Pupils attending Early Bird and Breakfast Club should enter through the main door, where a member of staff will be present to register your child.

At 08:50 all three front doors will be opened to allow access to pupils not attending either club. Staff will be present at each entrance to welcome learners and answer any queries from parents/carers. Children should enter by the correct door.

Main entrance: Pen Morfa (Yr2), Eryri (Yr3) and Plas Mawr (Yr4)
Central entrance: Yr Wyddfa (Yr1), Llywelyn (Yr5) and Wybrnant (Yr6)
Nursery entrance: Sali Mali and Jac Do (Reception).

At the end of the school day learners should be collected from the same door.

All doors will be locked from 09:00 onwards. Any pupils arriving late or visitors wishing to gain access to the school after this time should use the intercom facility.

Vehicles

In order to protect pupils, vehicles are not permitted on site. Public/parent vehicles are not permitted in the staff car park at the rear of the building. At the front of the school parents are requested not to park so that they are obstructing the highway and to keep off the road markings at the front of the school.

Dogs

We do not allow dogs on the school grounds. If you do need to bring your dog to school, please note that the pavement outside Ysgol Tudno can become busy in the morning and afternoon. We request that you keep your dog on a lead and at a safe distance from our learners.
